Scheme Coordinator - Corby Responder - Stacey Price

Managing the NNCFR team of voluntary community first responders fills me with immense pride. These everyday heroes selflessly dedicate their time and skills to serve our community, and I am privileged to lead them. Their commitment to saving lives, their compassion during emergencies, and their unwavering support for one another inspire me every day. As a team, we make a tangible difference, and knowing that we contribute to the well-being of our neighbours is both an honour and a privilege

Deputy Coordinator - Stoke Albany Responder - Simon Malin

As the deputy coordinator of our Community First Responders, it conveys a sense of great joy, satisfaction, and pride to support and help manage such a dedicated team of volunteers. Commitment to serving our community during emergencies is nothing short of inspiring. Whether it’s providing life-saving aid or offering comfort to those in distress, their actions make a substantial impact. Being part of this compassionate and efficient team is a privilege—one that allows me to contribute directly to the safety and well-being of our North Northants Community.

Kit & Asset Lead - Corby Responder - Rosemary Guthrie

As the kit and asset lead for our community first responder team, I find immense satisfaction in ensuring that our team is well-equipped and prepared. My role involves managing our medical supplies, equipment, and resources. Knowing that I contribute directly to our team’s effectiveness during emergencies fills me with pride. Whether it’s organizing kits, maintaining inventory, or coordinating with suppliers, I appreciate the privilege of supporting our dedicated volunteers. Their commitment inspires me, and I take pride in being part of this vital aspect of our life-saving efforts

Community Training Lead - Desborough Responder - James Spencer

Having always had an interest in emergency medicine and first aid. I enjoy my role within NNCFR, attending patients in my local community, providing life saving interventions, and life sustaining treatments, in the few critical minutes before an ambulance arrives.

I find teaching BLS in the community and schools very rewarding.. to help pass on some basic skills, to built confidence and resilience in communities.

Anyone can save a life, and I hope by continuing to run free workshops for the community we can empower people to help someone in their time of need.

Development Lead - Corby Responder - Mercedes Britton

My role within the scheme is Development Training Lead. I find immense satisfaction in empowering volunteers to make a difference. Guiding them through their responder career, I witness their growth and dedication first hand. Whether it’s refreshing life-saving skills or completing their annual ride out shifts with them, I’m inspired by their commitment to reaching potential life-threatening emergencies swiftly. Together, we create a safety net, bridging the crucial minutes before professional help arrives.

Scheme Car Lead - Corby Responder - Mark Neve

I am responsible for looking after our scheme car ensuring its always clean and well presented. I also make sure the car is taken for regular services and any faults looked into, meaning we can be on the road as much as possible responding to emergency calls. I became a CFR after 5 years as a Special Constable for Northamptonshire police and have not looked back since. I find the role so rewarding and hope to maybe one day make it a full time career

Recruitment & Mentor Lead - Corby Responder - Tina Bangs

As a Community First Responder, I thoroughly enjoy being able to make a difference and assist in my local community.  One regret I have always had is not choosing the medical indutry as a career therefore I feel I am somewhat achieving my dreams by helping as a responder in patients times of need.

As the NNCFR Recruitment and Mentor lead, I have the great pleasure of introducing new potential responders to the scheme. Supporting them through the recruitment process and then, once qualified,  through their mentoring period. I really love watching their confidence grow and I feel so proud of them once they're signed off solo.

I’ve always been passionate about the emergency services, and it’s a privilege to be part of North Northants Community First Responders, a team dedicated to providing lifesaving procedures and essential training across North Northamptonshire.

Alongside my role as a Community First Responder, I also manage the IT systems and infrastructure for the team. Supporting our communication tools, apps, and processes so they run smoothly. By integrating technology with emergency response, this helps enhance our ability to serve the community when every second counts.

Kettering Responder - Steve Keen

Desborough Responder - Ally Cheshire

Deenethorpe Responder - Helen Streather

Brigstock Responder - Keli Watts

I’ve always had an interest in the medical world but my busy life meant I’ve not had the time to pursue this interest. Now that my retired (but not much less busy!) I really happy to be involved with NNCFR. The training is great and always really interesting. The group is full of colourful and fascinating people from every walk of life. The work with patients is fulfilling and helping in the community is what I’m all about!
